We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality products.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
A.
Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for filling production logs.
The log will cover process parameters, production status, and status of finished orders Assist team with production line start-ups and shutdowns Monitor online inspection system for fabric abnormality and work with QA inspector to determine what needs to be removed.
Report to team leader for review as soon as possible Place paper in roll to inform slitter operator about the abnormality and the defects to be removed.
Responsible for changing extruder filter screens and filling out change records Responsible for winder operation Perform parameter adjustments based on the process parameter sheet provided for the material being ran Check production quantity matching order quantity.
Work with team leader to make sure the quantity of master rolls is correct before considering the order complete Responsible for the hygiene and 5S around winder, calendar and production line.
Clean as necessary Assist team leader in the responsibility of fabric quality.
Monitor and report any quality changes immediately.
Report issues with Management by communicating openly and honestly Monitor machine performance during run time Assist slitter operator with Crane/Hoist operation to move rolls between winder and slitter Ensure that machine is running as expected, report any problems to team leader Collaborate with packaging and slitter operators for break times in a rotation to ensure that there are people on duty for production all the time Responsible for shift turnover to oncoming machine operators Follow Procedures and complete documents accurately Follow ALL company policies with special emphasis on safety Be alert to methods of continuous improvements Maintain proper communication between team leader and other departments Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it in a timely manner Follows company procedures based on safety and uses materials and equipment per manufactures directions Other duties as assigned B.
Working Conditions Must be able to work 12-hour shifts Must be able to work in a team environment Must adhere to safety expectations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Must be able to work in high and low spaces C.
Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, preferably extrusion experience or textile experience.
Those with experience working with Riecofil equipment are highly preferred, but we will train as needed.
Knowledge of SAP preferred.
Must possess good problem-solving skills Basic math skills Must work harmoniously with co-workers Must have a can-do attitude Must be self-motivated Must be detail oriented D.
Physical Requirements Physical requirements include lifting up to 50lbs.
